Completed assignments missing from GetUserAssignments API call

I have a set of users in a group, all assigned the same skill path. If I export from the UI, I can see this one particular skill path with the correct status. If I call the API call for GetUserAssignments, these items do not show up. How can I get the correct export from the API?
